Privacy policy

We collect as little as possible. The only information you actively give this website is what you type into the appointment request form. We use it to get back to you about your visit, and we do not sell it to anyone.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how people find and move through the site. That is standard traffic measurement, not surveillance of individuals.

When you submit the appointment request form, we receive the name, phone number, email address, and message you enter. We use it only to respond to your request, schedule care, and keep a record of the conversation.

Please do not use the form to send detailed medical or dental history. A website form is not a secure channel for health information. Tell us you would like an appointment and we will collect anything clinical over the phone or in the office, where it is properly protected.

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: the pages you view, roughly how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, the general region you are connecting from, and the site or search that sent you here.

This happens through Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies in your browser. It tells us things like which services people read about most. It does not tell us who you are.

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Ours are used for analytics and for remembering display preferences you choose in the accessibility panel, such as larger text.

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics entirely. Blocking them does not break this website; the accessibility panel will simply forget your settings between visits.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. It reaches only the service providers that make the site run: Netlify, which hosts the site and delivers form submissions to us, and Google Analytics, which measures traffic. Each handles data under its own privacy terms.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the rights or safety of our patients, our team, or the public.

HIPAA protects the health information our practice creates and keeps about you as a patient. Your chart, X-rays, treatment notes, and billing records are covered by it and by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which we provide at your first visit.

This policy covers something narrower: the website. Information you type into a public web form before you are a patient does not have the same protection in transit, which is why we ask you to keep the form to scheduling and leave the clinical details for the office.

Appointment requests are kept as long as we need them to respond and to maintain a reasonable business record. Analytics data expires on Google's retention schedule. Patient records are retained for the period Illinois law requires for dental records.

Requests involving your clinical record are handled under HIPAA rather than this policy, and our front desk will walk you through that process.

This website is meant for adults arranging dental care, including care for their children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through the form, contact us and we will remove it.

If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and change the date below. Continuing to use the site after an update means the revised policy applies.
